Do I need to pay a monthly fee to recieve alerts and control my system from my smartphone?                           Yes.  Your Honeywell Lynx Touch panel will only have this feature through Honeywell's Total Connect app and service.
 
What kind of phone do I need to have?                           
       You will need to have a smartphone.  There is an app for Apple and Android phones.
 
As a DIY installer of my system can I go directly to Honeywell to sign up for Total Connect service?
      No.  This service can only be acquired through authorized Honeywell Dealers.  We are an authorized Honeywell dealer and love to help DIYers get this service set up.  Best of all, we don't charge a set up fee or have lengthy contracts like most other companies!
 
Is there any way to avoid paying a monthly fee?     
       In order to have remote access through Total Connect a monthly fee is required.  The Lynx Touch does have an option to call multiple phone numbers if an alarm is triggered.  This option requires connection to a landline phone.  In this case there is no monthly fee.
 
Are there any other hidden charges or fees?     
       Absolutely not!  No set up fees, cancellation fees, or any other ridiculous fees!  
 
 
What is the process to sign up for service and how long does it take?     
       When you are ready send us an email and we can get things started.  Sign up is easy and you can start accessing your Total Connect features within minutes! 
 
 
How do I pay for my service each month?     
       We automate your billing so you don't have to worry about it.  If you'd like to stop service and billing a simple email will take care of it.
